My career in tech began on the defense side—spending over four years in cybersecurity taught me how to identify vulnerabilities, anticipate threats, and protect critical assets. However, I realized my true interest lies in building secure, resilient infrastructure from the ground up rather than just defending it. Transitioning into cloud and solution architecture allows me to apply this "security-first" mindset proactively, designing environments that are inherently protected, highly available, and aligned with business objectives. To bridge the gap between security and architecture, I have focused heavily on practical, hands-on application within the AWS ecosystem. I've built and configured AWS environments using Lambda for serverless workflow automation, VPCs for network segmentation and access control, S3 for scalable and policy-governed storage, CloudFront for content delivery and edge security, and Security Groups as a first line of perimeter defense. Beyond just provisioning services, my goal in these builds is to solve real-world operational challenges: automating workflows, securing cloud environments at every layer, and making data-driven decisions that balance high performance with cost optimization.
